Lee Harding opened Da Capo in October 2000. I love old fashioned traditional hand techniques and high tech cutting edge technology, and explore everything in between. I am happy making period vintage pieces, traditional pieces with loving detail, crisp modern contemporary, or wild avant garde. I love not knowing what style the next piece I will make is, as it depends entirely on our customer (you).
Da Capo itself is a direction used in musical notation instructing to repeat again from the beginning. So everything I make starts with putting pencil to paper in the studio, whether it is for ready-made pieces in our store or bespoke commissions tailored to the individual.
